WARRANTY POLICY

General Information

The Manufacturer's Warranty varies by manufacturer and cart type when purchased from Lakeshore Golf Cars. Please note that used carts are sold "As-Is" and do not include a warranty. As a leading dealer of EVolution Golf Carts, Lakeshore Golf Cars provides the Manufacturer's Limited Warranty Policy outlined below.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

EVolution Golf Carts are backed by a comprehensive limited warranty to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship under normal use and maintenance. The terms are as follows:

  • Frame and Chassis: 3 years from the date of purchase.
  • Battery:
    • Lithium Batteries: 5 years or 3,000 cycles, whichever comes first.
    • Lead-Acid Batteries: 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • Electric Motor: 3 years from the date of purchase.
  • Controller: 2 years from the date of purchase.
  • Other Components: 1 year from the date of purchase.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including tires, brake pads, and upholstery.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper maintenance.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or alterations.
  • Environmental damage caused by exposure to water, salt, extreme temperatures, or chemicals.
  • Use of non-authorized parts or accessories.
  • Commercial use or rental applications, unless expressly stated in the sales agreement.

3. Claims Process

To file a warranty claim:

  1. Contact the authorized dealer where the cart was purchased.
  2. Provide proof of purchase and warranty documentation.
  3. Allow the dealer or EVolution’s authorized technician to inspect and assess the defect.

4. Resolution Options

EVolution reserves the right to repair, replace, or issue a prorated credit for defective parts or products at its discretion. Replaced parts will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

5. Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, owners must:

  • Adhere to the maintenance schedule outlined in the owner’s manual.
  • Use only authorized parts and accessories.
  • Store and operate the golf cart under the conditions specified in the manual.

6. Transferability

The warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner during the original warranty period, provided proof of ownership transfer is submitted to EVolution.

7. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole remedy provided by EVolution Golf Carts and excludes all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. EVolution is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the product.
